PRAGUE

While you are in the Czech Republic you certainly need to visit Prague. It is the capital and the largest city in the country. The city has a temperate climate with warm summers and chilly winters. Even more, Prague is home to many famous cultural attractions. Many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th century Europe. Visit the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Square and Wenceslas Square.

ČESKY KRUMLOV CASTLE

The State Castle of Česky Krumlov ranks among the most important historic sights in the central European region. The castle dates back to 1240. That is when the castle was built by the Witigonen family, the main branch of the powerful Rosenberg family. Currently, Česky Krumlov Castle is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site.

KUTNA HORA

Apart from Prague, visit the town called Kutna Hora. The town began in 1142. By 1260 it became to be home to one of Europe’s leading silver mines. The wealth from silver helped finance many of Kutna Hora’s most beautiful buildings. Highlights include many beautiful churches, Sedlec Ossuary, Jesuit College,  Italian Court, and Marian column. This town is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site.

THE BOHEMIAN PARADISE

Bohemian Paradise is a Protected Landscape Area. It was declared in 1955 as the first nature reserve. At first, it was 95 square kilometers in area. Furthermore, now the area is almost 182 square kilometers in area.
